If you're looking for a family owned and operated neighborhood pub with friendly staff, great home cooked meals, and awesome burgers and wings - Tooties will become a favorite pretty quick. Chef Nick's tacos are a personal favorite - watch their FB page for specials.
It's good. It's probably what you'd expect. Nothing crazy awesome to write home about. The place feels a little bit like a time capsule with the wood panel walls and carpet that is coming up in spots that tries to trip you. Dinner specials are usually the best thing they offer, those can be really special. Burgers are decent and staff are friendly. It also has the vibe that you ate/drank there enough to become a regular then it would probably be better, more welcoming, fun experience. But I personally don't enjoy it enough to go back more than twice a year
Love love love coming here for a nice meal and a beer! Sit at the bar or tables and enjoy the unpretentious atmosphere. Best value for delicious food in an unassuming locale.
I love coming here because it's so chill and laid back. It's a bar but doesn't feel like one. I know of an AA group that comes here to play pool and they are supported in their sobriety. It's got a family friendly vibe. Their burgers are good but not my favorite but their French fries are great. The always offer deserts and usually they are pretty good. Mainly I come here to feel relaxed in am uplifting environment where there aren't loud drunks. The TV sets are usually the background noise with a little music but it's soft and not over stimulating. It's got a retro neighborhood vibe. I can relax here and that's important!
Consistently good bar fare for for 35 years or so I've been going there. The staff is always Pleasant, and for the last three or four years they've been branching out into some more esoteric Foods. There was a desert something like apple pie egg rolls that was delicious. I've only seen them on the menu a couple times, pretty labor-intensive to make but it was all done by hand. Excellent. 2022 - A first for Tooties On Lowry, a pan roasted chicken breast with potatoes, carrots and onions (with a bun). As their Chef is a master of gravy, and the veggies are perfectly done hopefully it will become part of their specials cycle. He's also offered several coconut curry soups, this one is Carrot Coconut Curry, Awesome with just enough heat.
Stopped here after antiquing for a bit and looking for a local spot with quality food. Was not disappointed, we had a burger and it was that yummy juicy you want from a burger and perfect fries. We tried the corn bites, super recommend. Service was great, the bar is a bit dated, I mean a lot dated but it's a blast into the past and had that cozy feel.
Love when I walk into a restaurant and I can see and smell the history! What a charming little neighborhood spot. Was so pleasantly surprised to see that they have a separate room with pool tables and a few different games. Thank you tooties for not renovating your restaurant to look like every other modern restaurant in the US. Keep the charm, keep the old, keep the nostalgia!
